Castle Rock distinguishes ordinary golf carts from low-speed electric vehicles. The Town’s guidance restricts ordinary golf carts to golf-course use, with an exception for Town business. Qualifying low-speed electric vehicles may use streets posted at 30 mph or less.
Check the Town’s published rules and the roads connecting your destinations before choosing a vehicle. A cart’s appearance or accessories do not establish permission.
